¿Mac o PC?
Si estás considerando comprar un a computadora Mac o PC, déjame decirte que Mac es la mejor, voy a explicarte porqué.
El problema con la PC es que es ensamblada con software de diferentes compañías. La cámara es de la marca Logitech, el disco duro pertenece a otra compañía, y así todas su partes vienen de diferentes fuentes las cuales a veces no son compatibles.
A diferencia, Mac tiene su propias partes, todo está incluido en un solo paquete por lo cual el ensamblaje queda a la medida, de manera óptima, incluyendo su sistema operativo (OS).
La PC de Windows tiene muchas partes diferentes, de distintos lugares, que muchas veces hay que descubrir cómo resolver las aplicaciones de incompatibilidad con el programa, esto se hace difícil porque usan partes genéricas y no siempre encajan, presentando a menudo problemas.
Por su parte, Mac conoce muy bien su OS, sus partes no son tantas como las de la PC, es un promedio de 50 a 80 nada más, es más limitado.
Las PC tienen una cantidad increíble de aplicaciones, es una cantidad muy competitiva como: Microsoft Office, muchos softwares y programas que no son compatibles con Windows. Esto presenta un problema porque se requiere actualizar el programa y al hacerlo, a veces altera la configuración de la computadora, creando muchos problemas. Esto es algo frecuente con las PC.
La Mac es diferente, al ser sus propias aplicaciones ellos son más estrictos con sus programas, no aceptan cualquier cosa. Filtran las aplicaciones para ver qué es lo que se acepta o no como parte de la computadora, si no es aceptable se descarta el producto, por eso no tiene que arreglar tanto, o existen tantos errores o fallas comparado con la PC.
Entre otra diferencia a considerar sería en cuestión de imagen, para mí la Mac es la mejor.
Desde siempre ella ha sido lo máximo en la calidad de sus imágenes, muchos la prefieren para películas, como en Hollywood, y animaciones, es mucho más confiable, la imagen es más nítida y cuenta con mayores detalles.
La PC, el Windows, está muy atrasada en esta característica, pero están tratando de alcanzar el nivel de la Mac. El tema es que Mac ya tiene todo su software y los programas ya incluidos, lo cual es mejor.
Cuando uno adquiere una PC solo incluye lo básico, por lo cual se necesita adquirir
software y partes constantemente para poder instalarlos, causando que su costo suba considerablemente. Aunque el costo inicial de la PC es más barato a comparación de la Mac, al sumar los costos extras la PC será muchísima más cara a comparación de la Mac.
La tercera cosa es bien chévere con relación a la PC, es que uno puede entrar en su sistema operativo para analizar, manipular y modificar las configuraciones. Uno no puede hacer lo mismo con la Mac, aquí todo está protegido, uno no puede entrar al sistema, estás estancado, si tratas de cambiar o modificar algo porque su acceso es negado para los usuarios.
A menudo los técnicos del departamento de informática les gusta trabajar más con PC porque pueden entrar al sistema y hacer modificaciones de acuerdo a sus necesidades, con aplicaciones de diferentes compañías. Lo cual no es el caso con la Mac, esta está preestablecida, significa que solo se puede trabajar con su propios programas, y en este caso la empresa tiene ajustarla a la configuración y programas de la Mac.
Mi sugerencia es que para el hogar, para su uso personal, utilice la Mac. Para el trabajo, a las empresas también les recomiendo la Mac, es más confiable, aunque sé que a ellas no les gusta esta máquina, pero otra vez le menciono, si quieres invertir en una computadora, te sugiero una Mac.
Otra cosa que es chévere con la Mac es que tienen los iPhone, el televisor Apple, etc., todos sus productos se interconectan entre sí, y eso el lo bueno.
No podemos decir eso los androides y el cloud que trabaja con el PC, sus productos son más difíciles de establecer compatibilidad entre ellos, hay que añadir programas mucho más complicados, a veces hay que cambiar los códigos y al hacer eso se altera la configuración, mientras que con la Mac esto no sucede.
Otra vez, si estás pensando en comprar una computadora, te recomiendo una Mac.
Mac or PC
In considering whether to buy a Mac or a PC, I would recommend a Mac and I’ll tell you why.
When it comes to compatibility with PCs, because there are so many companies that produce parts of the PC, there can be issues of things working together. With a Mac, the same company is responsible for all of the components so they work together much more effectively.
For the operating system, PCs uses Windows. Because there are so many different manufacturers of components, it means that the Windows system has to accommodate all of the different approaches and it ends up being a much more generic system. On the other hand, Macs have a limited number of companies involved with the supply chain. I would estimate somewhere in the 50-80 range. This allows the OS to be more custom fit to the hardware.
The same issues show up when looking at apps. Because the operating system is so generic, it has a hard time dealing with upgrades so if you are running something like Microsoft Office, an upgrade in software can sometimes lead to trouble. In the Mac universe, Apple has a much more strict screening process to ensure the integrity of apps so that they work more effectively with Mac OS. If developers submit something that is sub-par, they are rejected and have to fix their app before they can sell it. This approach leads to less glitches and bugs compared to the PC universe and is one reason I recommend Macs.
When it comes to graphics, Macs are also known for their top quality images. Hollywood producers and animators often rely on Macs in their production lines because the quality of images are so crisp. PCs relying on Windows are behind in this effort, though they are working to catch up.
Another nice feature of Macs is that they come with a lot of the software already installed. With Windows, you often have to pay more money to install software applications after you purchase the computer which causes the real price to go up. The base cost of a PC is often cheaper than a Mac, but when you factor in all the software, the PC can often be more expensive.
One nice thing about a PC is that it is more open to you getting in and working on the computer and trying to fix your own issues. A Mac is really locked down so it is harder to customize. IT people often love PCs because they have a more open architecture to be able customize the computer for a company’s needs. So, a company really needs to fit its needs to what a Mac offers. So, that is one negative of a Mac.
But for your home, personal use, I do suggest a Mac. I think Macs are really a reliable computer for business as well, but your company might not like it. But if you’re the one investing the money, I think the Mac is the better use of your funds.
Another really positive feature is how the Mac interfaces with other Apple Technologies, like an iPhone or Apple TV. With a PC, sometimes it is difficult to get Android based devices to interface as easily with Windows. It just adds additional complications. Sometimes one tweak of the code can throw things off. With Macs, all of those connects are just more stable.
So again, as you consider purchasing a computer, I recommend a Mac.
