If you are searching by location, we recommend searching for both national programs and those that operate specifically within your state. To find national programs, search on the word “national”. If you are looking for programs that operate in your specific state, enter the full state name or the two letter abbreviation (example: “Vermont” or “VT”). Some programs may be local, only providing opportunities within a given state.

|Description of the Program|
M2E is a program designed to improve communication access across Greater Minnesota! Interpreters have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of experienced Deaf and hearing mentors throughout our sixteen-week program. These sessions aim to build interpreters’ confidence and skills when accepting a wide variety of community assignments.
Through individual and group virtual mentoring sessions, and in-depth interpreting evaluations, interpreters have the opportunity to work on various interpreting skills in a structured, supportive environment.
The Mentoring-2-Excellence Program is provided by ASLIS and is supported by grant funding from the Minnesota Department of Human Services, Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Division.
