The Pros and Cons of Free College Tuition

I believe we should promote free college tuition.

College is expensive to begin with. I do think it is important to provide free college tuition to single mothers with children. They often are at risk for waiting to find an apartment for a year or more. For example, deaf children often are listed first on the list, but what about hearing children with a deaf parent who do not qualify for apartment quickly. They might need to wait for a year or two. Some are eligible due to attending deaf school. Yes, I do think the university should be free. This is due to the high rate of withdrawals from the university due to the financial burden, classes, lack of understanding from the tutoring center, miscommunications and lack of empathy. Despite all of the challenges, it is still important to get through college. Another reason why University should be free due to lack of vocational rehabilitation’s support for books, apartment, tuition which impacts if you can continue or need to withdraw.
