Discussion Partners: Vyron and Sean
Vyron and Sean continue their conversation about photography. This the second of two discussions they have; the first conversation is video #28.
- Sean and Vyron continue their talk on photography and light. This is good practice for voicing use of 3-d space in signing. Easy pace, low risk.
- This video would be good for an interpreter preparing to take the Certification exam. I would suggest using this video and then showing it to a mentor, if possible a deaf mentor to get feedback. This video requires using space and CL. This video also requires the interpreter to see the use of CL in ASL and be able to translate the concept into English.
About this Video
The interactive videos in this series were created in partnership during the Graduation to Certification program through a collaboration between the CATIE Center and the Duluth Branch of the NAACP. These unscripted conversations were interpreted by novice interpreters in the GTC program and the video was edited to the best of our ability to remove the interpretation to create practice material. There may be some legacies of the original interpretation such as repetition due to the original interpreter asking for clarification or sometimes all of the interpretation may not be edited out due to overlapping communication.
